Q: What is Dance Supply Centre?
A: We’re a UK-based company providing custom teamwear, costumes, majorette accessories, and gifts for dancers of all ages. Whether you’re a new troupe or a seasoned team, we’re here to help you look and feel your best — without breaking the bank!
Q: Who runs DSC?
A: DSC was created by a majorette trainer who’s been in the dance world since 2008 — so we know the struggle of fundraising, tight deadlines, and trying to find good quality items at affordable prices. That’s why DSC exists!
🪡 Orders, Samples & Sizing
Q: Can I order a sample before I commit?
A: Yes — and we strongly recommend it! Ordering a sample first helps you check fabrics, fit, and design before placing a full team order.
If you skip the sample stage and something doesn’t meet your expectations, we unfortunately can’t offer refunds or exchanges.
Q: How do I make sure my costumes fit correctly?
A: We provide sizing sets so you can try on and record the correct sizes before ordering. If you choose not to use a sizing set, DSC can’t be held responsible for sizing discrepancies and we can’t accept returns or exchanges on those items.
Q: Can you make made-to-measure costumes?
A: Yes! For made-to-measure orders, you’ll need to supply complete and accurate measurements. Refunds or replacements will only be offered if the costume isn’t made to the exact measurements you’ve provided.
🧵 Production & Lead Times
Q: How long will my order take?
A: Production time depends on what you’ve ordered. Custom teamwear and costumes usually take 4–6 weeks, but we’ll confirm an estimated timescale when you place your order.
Please note: production times are estimates — delays can happen due to supplier issues or shipping delays, but we’ll always keep you updated.
Q: Can I cancel my order once it’s placed?
A: Once production has started, orders can’t be cancelled. If you cancel before production begins, it must be approved in writing and may incur a small admin fee.
📦 Delivery
Q: How is my order delivered?
A: We use trusted couriers like Evri and Royal Mail. You’ll get full tracking details once your parcel is on its way.
Q: Do you guarantee delivery dates?
A: We do our best to meet estimated dates, but delivery times can vary — especially during busy seasons or due to courier delays.
💳 Payments & VAT
Q: When is payment due?
A: Orders won’t go into production until payment is received in full (unless agreed otherwise). For large team orders, deposits may be accepted by prior arrangement.
Q: Are your prices VAT-inclusive?
A: Adult sizes include VAT at 20%. Child sizes are VAT-exempt — this is automatically applied when you checkout.
💧 Costume Care & Washing
Q: How should I wash DSC costumes and leotards?
A: Costumes should ideally be hand-washed only.
If you do use a washing machine, only wash on a cold 20°C cycle, and avoid fabric conditioner, bleach, or whitening agents — they can permanently damage the fabrics or colours.
Due to the variety of materials used, DSC can’t guarantee that colours won’t fade or run. Machine washing is entirely at your own risk.
Q: Can I tumble dry or iron my costume?
A: We don’t recommend either! Air-dry flat and avoid heat — it can ruin embellishments and fabrics.
🔁 Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Q: Can I return a costume if it doesn’t fit?
A: Custom items (including all teamwear and costumes) are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless:
The final product doesn’t match the approved sample, or
A made-to-measure costume hasn’t been made to the exact measurements you supplied.
If you didn’t use a DSC sizing set, we unfortunately can’t offer a replacement or refund.
Q: What if my order is faulty or damaged?
A: If you believe your order is faulty, please contact us straight away with your order number and clear photos so we can investigate and put it right.

Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: Yes! Physical DSC gift cards are available from £10 to £100 — perfect for dancers, coaches, or anyone who deserves a little sparkle. They’re shipped directly to you and can be used toward any purchase on our website.
Q: Do you offer accessories or individual items?

⚖️ Policies & Legal Bits
Q: Who owns the costume designs you create?
A: All original designs, artwork, and branding created by DSC remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise. If you supply your own logo or artwork, you’re confirming that you own the rights to use it.
Q: What law governs your terms?
A: All orders are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
