For the smoothest experience, maximum design flexibility and plenty of time to get every detail just right, we recommend starting your costume journey around 16–18 weeks before you need your costumes.

LET'S DESIGN

Allow approximately 4–6 weeks
Start your design consultation and work with DSC to create your bespoke costume. This stage allows time for the design and production of your sample costume.

SAMPLE APPROVAL

Receive your physical sample and see the costume properly before committing to your team's bulk order. This gives you the opportunity to check the overall design, fabrics, colours, shine, rhinestones, fit and how the costume looks and moves in person.

TIME TO GET EVERYONE SIZED

Allow approximately 2 weeks
A DSC sizing set can be shipped to your team so dancers can try on the relevant sizes. This helps you choose the best fit for each dancer before the bulk order is produced.

SUBMIT YOUR SIZES

Once everyone has been sized, submit the sizes required using our Costume Size Submission link. After the sizes have been submitted, DSC will prepare and send the invoice for your bulk costume order.

BULK PRODUCTION

Allow approximately 4–6 weeks
Once the order is confirmed and payment has been completed, allow approximately 4–6 weeks for the bulk costume order to be produced.

DSC will always endeavour to help where possible, but shorter timelines mean some of the ideal stages may need to change or be removed.

DESIGN + SIZING AT THE SAME TIME

We may need to start designing while your team is being sized to save time.

NO PHYSICAL SAMPLE STAGE

There may not be enough time to produce and ship a physical sample before bulk production needs to begin.

PHOTO APPROVAL ONLY

One costume may instead be produced for approval via WhatsApp, Messenger or your preferred contact method before the remainder of the bulk order is made.

Small tweaks can be made free of charge following photo approval, such as:

  • Slight skirt length adjustments
  • Small rhinestone adjustments
  • Minor finishing tweaks

Major design changes cannot be made free of charge at this stage.
