HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR DANCE COSTUME

Getting accurate measurements is essential for achieving the best possible fit. Follow our simple DSC measuring guide before selecting your costume size or submitting measurements for a bespoke costume.
DSC TOP TIP
Use a flexible measuring tape and take measurements carefully. For circumference measurements, keep the tape positioned around the correct part of the body.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

Once you have taken your measurements, compare them with the relevant DSC size chart for the costume being ordered.

Do not choose a size based purely on the dancer's age or usual high-street clothing size.

If measurements fall outside the available standard sizing, customers should contact Dance Supply Centre for advice.

For our bespoke leotard range, made-to-measure options may be available where measurements are smaller or larger than our standard sizes.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR MEASUREMENTS

โœ“

MEASURE CAREFULLY

Double-check every measurement before submitting it.

๐Ÿ“

USE CENTIMETRES

โœ“

CHECK THE GIRTH

Take particular care with the full shoulder-to-crotch-to-shoulder measurement.

๐Ÿ‘—

CHECK YOUR COSTUME TYPE

Make sure you have supplied any additional measurements required for that particular garment.
